Tamang Heritage Treks is the recently opened trekking route into the culturally rich regions of Langtang and Ganesh Himal of Nepal. Tamang Heritage Treks is 12- day long cultural trekking package which takes you through several Tamang Villages where you will be greeted by the ever smiling native ethnics. Tamang Heritage Treks allows you a chance to get acquainted with the centuries old tradition, culture, crafts and lifestyle of native Tamang which has retained its authenticity throughout all these years.
Paying homage to the monasteries, walking across the plain green land strewn with daisies and wild primula, amusing ourselves in the close- up view of mountains including Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Kerung, Chumse Danda Ridge, Jugal, Ganesh, Sringi, Manaslu and Sanjen and viewing the intricate patterns of Tamang homes are major attractions of Tamang Heritage Treks.
Tamang Heritage Treks trail commences from Syabrubesi and pass through several Tamang Villages around Langtang Region before returning back once more to Syabru Besi whence we will drive back to Kathmandu.
March to May and September to December are the appropriate months to enroll in Tamang Heritage Trek. The maximum height we will reach will be 2380m altitude which means you will not have to worry about suffering from High Altitude Sickness. Tamang Heritage has been categorized as the moderately strenuous trek.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Our representative from ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ will pick you up in Tribhuvan International Airport and convey to our hotel where you will be briefly explained about your trekking package. You will spend the comforting night in our hotel.
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
We will set out for the full day long guided tour around Kathmandu Valley. Visits include shrines at Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (also known as Monkey Temple) and Bouddhanath and Durbar Squares of Basantapur and other two nearby amazing cities of Patan and Bhaktapur.
Day03: Drive to Syabrubesi:
Driving to the north of Kathmandu for about 9hours through the road that twists and turns all the way will take us to Syabrubesi. We will enjoy the picturesque Trishuli River, terraces and rice field at the background. We will be taking brief break at Dhunche after which we will proceed through Betrawati. We will be staying in a hotel in Syabrubesi.
Day04: Trek to Goljung:
Our real trekking experience commences from Syabrubesi. Having casual walk uphill for about 4hours will be able to take us to a vantage point that allows the kaleidoscopic views of snow- clad mountains and woods. A gentle descend from the hill will bring us to Goljung Valley located at 1960m altitude.

Day05: Trek to Gatlang:

Gatlang is a pretty Tamang Village that locates itself at an altitude of 2240m altitude height in a distance of about 5walking hours far from Goljung village. While at Gatlang, we will be visiting a Tibetan monastery and exotic Parvatikunda Lake.
Day06: Trek to Tatopani:
Early in the morning we will be descending to Thangboche located along Bhote Koshi River near to Chilime Village. Ascending uphill for brief period will lead us to a natural Hot Spring which goes by the name of Tatopani. Enroute, we will have views of Langtang Range and Ganesh Himal.
Day07: Trek to Thuman via Nagthali:
After breakfast, we will proceed further to Nagthali Danda which locates itself at 3300m altitude. We will enjoy the scenic views of Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh Himal and Sanjen Ranges from the hilltop prior to lowering down through the hill all the way to Thuman which is a Tibetan influenced Tamang Village. We will stay overnight in Thuman.
Day08: Trek to Timure via Rasuwagadhi:
En route to Timure lies Rasuwagadhi which is an ancient Fort used by Nepal Government in war against Tibetans. Leaving Rasuwagadhi behind, we will head for Timure which is the village influenced by Tibeto- Burman culture that exists on the old Trade Route to Tibet.
Day09: Trek to Briddim:
It takes about 6 hours of walking to reach Briddim which is a Tamang Village influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. The natives here are the direct descendants of ancient Tibetan immigrants. Home stay facility is available in the Village of Briddim.
Day10: Trek back to Syabrubesi:
Early in the morning, we will head north along the Bhotekoshi River and pass through paddy fields. Later we will lower down to Syabrubesi. The whole trek takes 4 to5 hours to get complete.
Day11: Return to Kathmandu:
This day marks the end of our trekking. We will drive back to Kathmandu which takes about 7hours duration. We will stay in our hotel in Kathmandu overnight.
Day12: Free Day in Kathmandu:
You can go shopping in the freak street of Thamel this day. Evening is the perfect time to have rickshaw ride around Thamel.
Day13: Departure:
We will assist in your last moment preparation and take you to Tribhuvan International Airport which will take you to your next destination. We wish you safe journey and expect to serve you again.
