Muktinath Trek is another exciting trek, which follows the most ancient traditional route in the trans-Himalaya route or salt trade route. When this route passes it touches several appealing villages with native people and animals. The trek follows the old trade route to Tibet along the bank of the Kali Gandaki exploring the great diversity of Annapurna region. Nepal is rich in its scenic beauty; this statement will be justified when you visit Jomsom / Muktinath. This is the most attracting trek in Nepal as people with 70% are increasing yearly. You can find inter connected and mixed culture but majority of people belong to Gurung, Magars and Thakali. The mode of trekking tour is tea house. Through Jomsom / Muktinath Trek, you can view amazing scenes like Lamjung Himal, Annapurna Himal Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri Himal, Dhawalagiri range, Tilicho peak. The trek grade is easy and moderate. The highest trek is 3800m ( Muktinath). As soon as you reach in Tatopani, the trek gets even more exciting as you can have an opportunity to relax in the lap of natural hot springs. In addition the grandeur of the Dhaulagiri is a head with the quick look of the windy Tibetan Plateau on the way to the holy Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath (3800m). This track leads to Kagbeni, which is the entrance gate of Mustang. In the past this was the forbidden kingdom and it leads to Muktinath, considered to be the most holy places for Hindus and Buddhists. The final day is trouble- free and will move down to Nayapul.

 

Some highlight sports of this trek are travelling around the beautiful Kagbeni, Muktinath, Dhaulagiri with an ice- flow, deepest gorge of the world, the Kali Gandaki, Tatopani (Hot spring), PoonHill (Sunrise) and other wonderful views. The maximum height that you will be trekking is 5550m and the trekking days can be re arranged according to the availability of your time.

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

On the 1st day you will be transferred from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to hotel where you will be familiar with the detail itinerary. Overnight stay in a guest house.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Kathmandu valley includes several Hindu temples including of Pashupatinath, listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Sites and the largest Buddhist stupa in Boudhanath. You can also visit the Monkey Temple Swyambhunath, built in 2000 years old and visit Patan, city of fine arts. Overnight stay in a guest house.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara, trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m)

On the 3rd day the trip head to Pokhara. It takes 6 hours by road from Kathmandu. You can enjoy a beautiful journey alongside the Prithivi Highway, where you will be able to see small settlements with a touch of countryside life in Nepal. You will have our breakfast at sharp 7:30 am, drive to Nayapul by vehicle crossing the large village of Lumla. Then, you will march for at least 20 minutes towards Birethanti, which is considered a large and the most flourishing town. In Ramghai you will have lunch and will begin the trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m). Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m)

When you will reach near Ulleri after one hour of walk, you will have some time for rest .Again in Nangethanti we will stop for lunch. From there it takes 2850m to climb Ghorepani. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 05:  Trek to Tatopani (1200m)

On the 5th day of trek, you have to get up early in the morning for hiking Poonhill. Poonhill is the place from where you can see fabulous view of sunrise and the Himalayas. When you are done with Poonhill, will return to Ghorepani, taking hot breakfast and will continue our walking towards Tatopani. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to Ghasa (2120m)

Kali Gandaki, which is known as the deepest George is the place where the trek starts. This is the finest place for walking all along the Kali Gandaki riverside. Before Dana (1450m), you will cross Bhalo Khola and around 30 minuteswe will see a high waterfall. Ghasa, which is famous for its ethnic Thakali villages but to reach that place you have to continue the narrowest path of Kali Gandaki. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.  

Day 07: Trek to Tukuche (2560m)

This track follows the Kali Gandaki River, a narrow ravine which comes before thakali villages. On the way you can snap immense photo. The trek will end in the village of Tukuche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek to Jomsom / Kagbeni (2800m)

Kagbeni is the most beautiful and adventures place for the trek. Almost immediately as you enter the first thing that you will see is the village of Khobang. From there you can make the trip towards Kanti Goma, a Buddhist temple. You can continue our trip towards Marpha as it is important place for Apple. On the way you can see a wine brandy distillery which is the main source of the native living here. Still you need to walk another 2 hours to be at Jomsom. At this point you will have some lunch so that you can carry on the Kaligandaki River. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek to Muktinath (3800m)

Muktnath is the holy place for both Hindus and Buddhist. You  need to climb 1000 meter to reach Muktinath. First of all you will wrap to walk all the way through Khingar (3400m) continuing Jharkot (3500m) which will be an inspiring stronghold for natives. If you are planning to carry on the first part of Muktinath, you will be staying that night at Ranipur. It has other advantages too. That will give us some time to visit Hindu places and to see the sights near the areas. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek to Jomsom (2600m)

On the 10th day of the trek you will move for the trek to Jomsom. Jomsom is another destination for trek that can change the perspective of your life. Trek to Jomsom takes almost 5 hours. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 11: Flight to Pokhara

On the 11th day you will take a flight to Pokhara. After arriving at Pokhara you will be transferred into the hotel where you can take shower and carry on the evening walk near from the hotel.  Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 12: Sightseeing in Pokhara

Pokhara is the beautiful destination and one of the most appreciated place by the tourist. Pokhara is not similar to Kathmandu. There are lots of places to visit in Pokhara from religious places to adventurous places. You can view sunrise, enjoy boating and explore different caves too. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 13: Chitwan National Park

After having breakfast you will drive to Chitwan from Pokhara. Arriving at Sauraha, you get to see the beautiful sunrise, sunset and sight from Rapti River. The advantages to drive Chitwan national Park is you can you can view different birds and animals along with the cultural dances performed by the Tharu community. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 14: Excursion

Chitwan National Park is the symbol of flourishing evidence of nature conservation in the South Asia. This is a perfect place for wildlife in an undisturbed area. You can engage in some adventurous activities like Elephant riding, walking in the jungle, Elephant wash and canoe trip and many more.  This will be your pleasurable trip. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu

On the 18th day you will drive to return Kathmandu from Chitwan National Park taking 5 hours. Then, you will be transferred into the hotel and after having some rest you will again transferred into Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu so, that you can return our hometown.

Day 16: Free day in Kathmandu

Though this is your free day in Kathmandu you can utilize it as far as possible. You can end up visiting Kathmandu in one day so, it is said there are lots of places to roam in Kathmandu. In the evening you can go and view different temples and snaps some photographs and traeure it for the future. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 17: Departure!!!!

This is formally the last day where you will be transferred into the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu after checking out from the hotel. After leaving Kathmandu you will return your hometown.
