Trip Overview Mera Peak Climbing

Meera Peak is situated in the Sagarmatha Region with its altitude rising until 6,476 meters. Meera Peak is one of the most interesting Peak Climbing in Nepal. It contains three main summits: Meera North (6,476 meters), Meera Central (6,461 meters) and Meera South (6,065 meters) as well as a smaller "trekking summit", visible as a distinct summit from the south but not marked on most maps of the region.
If you are planning to reach Meera Peak you can use air ways to Lukla or in case you love trekking then you can walk from Jiri to Lukla. There are various methods to reach the Base Camp apart from easy route and normal route. If you are willing to view the panoramic views of different Himalayas like Kanchenjunga, Makalu then the High Camp is the perfect spot to color your dreams. In additional, Northern part of the Peak Meera, is termed as a straight- forward for climbing.

Day 01–Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the International Airport in Kathmandu, our team members will welcome you and explain briefly about the travel itinerary. You will then be taken to the hotel where you will be staying for the overnight.

Day 02- Flight to Lukla

On the second morning, you will board a flight to the Lukla Airport, also commonly known as Tenzing-Hillary Airport. It is a wonderful mountain flight and the flight itself can be no less than an adventure as the airport is enlisted as the most dangerous airport in the world, given the location, altitude and topography. In less than 30 minutes, you will reach Lukla while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains during the flight. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Lukla.

Day 03: Trek to Thaksingdingma (3,500m)

You will be ascending gradually passing through the jungle. It is strange to know that there is no human arrangement on the trail to Thaksingdingma. You will reach your destination to Thaksingdingma (3,500m) for Camping. Overnight stay at a tented camp.

Day 04: Trek to Thagnak

Thagnak is not an easy trek as you have to prepare for walking all day throughout the side of the mountain and the trail that leads to Thagnak is a bit narrow. The areas of the tropical forest on the trail turn out to be thinner as you climb close to the snow line. Overnight stay at a tented camp at Thagnak.

Day 05: Rest day in Thagnak

The next day you will spend at Thagnak, resting and acclimatizing to the conditions. However, do not worry about getting bored as it is significant to spend an extra day at Thagnak. This is a terrific location bounded by different stunning peaks which includes Peak 43(6769m). It is valuable to explore near for the purpose of acclimatization. Thagnak is the base for climbing east and north-east side of Kushum Kanguru. Overnight stay at a tented camp

Day 06: Trek to Khahare (5,099m)

You will travel across the lateral moraine of Dig Glacier to Dig Khraka which provides the stunning views of Glaciers and afterward you are going to climb more abrupt trail to Khahare ( 5,099m). Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 07: Trek to Base Camp (5300m)

For the trek to Base Camp (5300m), you are going to climb for minimum of three hours. Then, you will reach your destination at Mera-La (5415m). Usually, that pass will be enclosed with snow from November to April. Again the views from the pass are impressive. You will move down about 100m on the way to the Hogu Side and prepare for the Base Camp (5300), below the ice.

Day 08: Day for Acclimatization

This day will be as your rest day for acclimatization. You can further explore around or climb up for a few hours and again you have to come back to the Base Camp for the night. Overnight stay at a tented camp.

Day 09: Trek to High Camp

After completing a day of rest and acclimatization, the next day we will be trekking to the High Camp. After about four hours of trek, we will reach the High Camp. Overnight stay at tented camp.

Day 10: Trek to Summit

We start our trek early the next and reach the summit after a few hours of trek. The views of Pumori(7161m), Lhotse (8516m) Makalu (8463m), Lobuche (6145m), Cho Oyu ( 8201m) are spectacular from the top. These are the most fantastic view that you can see from the summit. Again after the trek we will go back over to Base Camp.

Day 11: 16 Trek to Meera Peak Base Camp- Lukla

Between the 11th to 16th days of the itinerary, you will spend your time in scaling the Meera Peak Base Camp. After exploring everything again you have to return from Meera Peak Base Camp to Lukla. The beauty and amazing view that you will get to know in Meera Peak Base Camp is marvelous and you will remember it throughout your entire life. Meera Peak Base Camp- Lukla. We follow the same route and come back to Lukla. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 17–Fly back to Kathmandu

On the 17th day of the tour package, you will board a flight back to Kathmandu while enjoining the 30-minutes of exhilarating mountain flight. The rest of the time in Kathmandu, you will be shopping and buying souvenirs to your loved ones. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 18Departure to TIA, “Farewell!"

On the 18th day of the tour package, you will return to your country via the international Airport in Kathmandu.
