Langtang Valley & Gosainkunda Treks at ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ is 13-days long moderately arduous Trekking package which conveys you through the wonderful experiences of unlocking the natural assets at the Langtang region right to the core of Langtang at Gosainkunda Lake where Lord Shiva himself is believed to have reside in the freezing water of the lake to get relief from the inflammation after inhaling the lethal ‘Kalkut Bis’.     

Langtang Valley & Gosaikunda Treksinitiates from the exotic Dhunche Bazaar that is cramped with hotels and lodges and heads to Langtang Valley before winding through verdant rhododendron and conifer forest in Langtang National Park which proceeds further to Gosainkunda Lake after passing through alpine pasture land, high passes, glaciers and moraines. The route chases downward the slope via Laurebina Pass (4610m) to Ghopte and further to Chisopani. A walk from Chisopani will take you to Sundarijal which is the supplier of drinking water for Kathmandu Valley. The trekking concludes at Sundarijal from where we will drive back to hotel in Kathmandu.

Engaging in this trek presents exotic scenic marvels of snow clad Mountains, the most revered Gosainkunda Lake and Tamang and Sherpa Villages in Langtang Village where you will have an insight into culture and livelihood of the highlanders. Day 13: Departure

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Our delegates will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and convey you to the hotel where you will get refreshed and rest after paying heed to a brief account of your itinerary package.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
A full day excursion awaits you on the second day during which we will set out for visiting the chief sites in and around Kathmandu that incorporates dropping in on Temple Complex of Pashupatinath (enlisted in World Heritage Site), Swayamvunath(The Monkey temple), Bauddhanath and Durbar squares of Kathmandu and  Patan(City of fine Arts) which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society.  

Day 03: Drive to Dhunche
The 7hours long journey continues through twists and turns that renders the nature at its best views of streams, waterfalls, roaring rivers, the green rice terraces and mountains and traverse 119km prior to hitting Dhunche where will find the felicitous hotel to stay overnight.

Day 04: Trek to Sing Gompa
The trail for the 4th day of Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda Treks makes its way upward the hill and progress through mineral water factory to turn up at Ghatte Khola from where the suspension bridge is to be crossed before scaling further through the vibrant woods of pine, oak and rhododendron forests where diverse wild floras and faunas lurk to finally make it to Sing Gompa(3330m) where we will stay overnight.

Day 05: Trek to Lauribinayak
Today’s track pursues the rocky path escalating uphill to make its way through Chalang Pati located at 3650m altitude that gives 180 degree views of Majesic Langtang Lirung and Tibetan Mountains to make it to Lauribinayak at 3920m altitude.

Day 06: Trek to Gosainkunda:
The trail stretches further through tapered and misty track and levels up by way of Shakyamuni stupa to Gosaikunda Lake(4460m). The way offers splendid scene of exotic Saraswati Kunda and Bhairab Kunda Lakes with sparkling icy water. We will notice the change in terrain from green pasture field to much arid area. The trek for the day will conclude in about 4 hours.

Day 07: Trek to Ghopte:
The route commences from the northern edge of Gosainkunda Lake and elongates downward smoothly via three smaller lakes to arrive at Laurebinayak(4610m). A steep descend of about 3 hours leads through a Langtang National Park Post at Bhera Goth(4240m) to Phedi(3740m) which heads further through bamboo forest to Ghopte(3440m).  

Day 08: Trek to Tharepati:
Declining from Ghopte, we will transverse the scintillating woods of pine and juniper and observe several wild fowls before meeting the slope which we will ascend for about 2 hours to ultimately make it to Tharepati(3640m) where we will stay overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Gul Bhanjyang
The 9th day of Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda Treks surpasses the wonderful woods of pine and fir to arrive at Magen Goth at 3420m altitude which is a pasture land with lush green vegetation which elongates further to Phangu before tumbling down by the way of rhododendron and fir trees that allows the spectacular views of snow capped mountains to Kutumsang(2450m) which sinks further to hit an enticing village of Gul Bhanjyang.

Day 10: Trek to Chisopani:
The path for 10th day moves along the forested ridge and escalates through Thodang Betini(2260m) and Chipling(2170m) prior to making a sharp downfall to reach Pati Bhanjyang(1860m) which is a multi- ethnic village majority of whom are Brahmin and Chhetri. The trail declines further to Chisopani at 2134m altitude which yields kaleidoscopic views of sun setting over snow clad mountains.  

Day 11: Trek to Sundarijal:
The trek follows through thickets of oak and rhododendron and passes across Borlang Bhanjyang(2440m) which elongates further through Army Check Post where your Shivpuri Entrance Permit is checked and moves to Mulkharka(1800m) that offers the Kathmandu at its best view prior to lowering down via woods of Sundarijal(1300m) where large dam is located that satiates the demand of water of Kathmanduites.

Day 12: Back to Kathmandu:
Early in the morning, we will drive down 15km long road to make it unto Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure:
 It’s the day to say goodbye. Our representative will assist you in last moment preparation and will drive you back to Airport from where you will return to your beloved ones. We hope to see you again. Farewell!!!
