Jugal Himal Trek at ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ is a 16-day package which lets you to the very core of Langtang region that blurs the line between trekking into natural wonderland and cultural excursion- a rare combination.
Jugal Himal Trek allows the kaleidoscopic views of Gaurishanker and Rolwaling Himal Ranges during where one can enjoy the scenic views of Dorje Lakpa Himal, Gaurishanker Himal, Madia Himal, Phurbi and Chhyachu. Jugal Himal Trek route passes across several villages which allows you the in depth knowledge into the secret culture and livelihood of the ever smiling locals. Special features of Jugal Himal Trek includes crossing the high passes, visiting picturesque villages, treading through deep woods with blooming rhododendron and other alpine flowers where several wild beasts dwell and making it to Panch Pokhari.

Day01: Kathmandu Arrival:
You will find our representatives there at the Airport, ready to greet you when you land at the International Airport of Kathmandu. They will receive you with your name and take you to the hotel where you will be briefly explained about the itinerary package.
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
On the second day, you will be taken out for an excursion to some of the chief sites in and around Kathmandu. Visits include temples of Pashupatinath, Swayamvunath and Bauddhanath and Durbar squares of Kathmandu and Patan.
Day03: Drive to Melamchi:
It is 60 km long distance from Chabahil Bus stop to Melamchi. We will arrive to Melamchi Pul Bazaar in about 2 and half hours. The drive is scenic and enjoyable along the Araniko Highway as you will observe the beauty of the natural landscape during the short travel journey. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Melamchi.
Day04: Trek to Kakani:
Our trekking commences from Melamchi Pul Bazaar. We will follow the trail uphill and pass through Talamaran all the way to Kakani where we will be staying overnight.
Day05: Trek to Sermathang:
Early in the morning we will ascend uphill through pine woods to make it to Sermathang. It is an easy day’s trek as you walk past the forests and the local villages before reaching Sermathang. You will stay for the night at a guesthouse in Sermathang.
Day06: Trek to Yangri Khola:
Crossing the small settlements, we will follow the steep trail to Yangri Khola which locates itself nearby Yangri Village. Yangri is a beautiful little village situated while on the way to Jugal Village Trek. You will also have a chance to learn about the people of Yangri and their local cultures
Day07: Trek to Mulabari:
The trail this day proceeds to the plain farm land known locally as Mulabari where we will stay overnight.
Day08: Trek to Nasempati:
Ascending forward to the steep hill at 3980m, we will cross the open ground to reach another crest. A little far from here is a stone house which locates itself above Nasem Pati(3800m). We will lower down to Nasem Pati where we will stay overnight.
Day09: Trek to Pachpokhari:
It takes 4hrs of climbing to reach Panch Pokhari(4050m) which means five holy lakes. Every year in the full moon of June/July, thousands of worshippers arrive here for worshipping. There are two cast iron roofed huts in Panch Pokari. We will camp here overnight.
Day10: Day hike:
It is taken as a rest day to give solace to our strained muscles. We will explore around Pachpokhari Lake.
Day11: Trek to Bheri Kharka:
Following the trail downward, we will pass through woods to arrive at a plain land full of lush green vegetation where sheeps can be spotted grazing hence the name Bheri Kharka. Bheri Kharka is synthesis of two words Bheri and Kharka which translates as ‘Shelter of Sheep’.
Day12: Trek to Hile:
We will ascend the rocky path that leads to green pasture. We will then cross the ridge, drop down to forest and cross the gullies with water to reach another crest at Chang Samarphu(3913m). From this crest, we will descend to Hile where we will stay overnight.
Day13: Trek to Okrin Danda:
A short trek on this day through streams and woods of pine and rhododendron will take us to Okrin Danda.
Day14: Trek and drive to Kathmandu:
After little trek through the easy trail, we will drive back to Kathmandu where we will be staying in our hotel.
Day15: Free Day in Kathmandu:
We will take rest from the strenuous trekking package. Evening is the perfect time to take rickshaw ride around Thamel where you can buy souvenirs to take back to your near and dear ones.
We will assist in your last minute packing and then our representative will leave you to Tribhuvan International Airport from where you can return back to your home or yet another destination. We hope to serve you again.
