According to the 2013 report, there are total 981 World Heritage Sites in 160 States Parties. 10 natural and cultural sites of Nepal are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites out of which 7 are included in Kathmandu Valley itself.
Nepal Heritage Tour at ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ is 4-days long Tour Package which takes you through the ultimate experience of unearthing the cultural marvels in three popular Archaic cities- Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur which is commonly called Kathmandu Valley. Visits include Hindu Temple Complex of Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, The Monkey Temple- Swayambhunath, Krishna Temple renowned for its Shikhar fashioned stone temple existing in the majestic Patan Durbar Square, The Golden Gate, The fifty five windowed Palace and The Changu Narayan Temple in Bhaktapur.
Kathmandu Valley has always remained the powerhouse of whole Nepal as whole Political, Economical and Social structures of Nepal since ancient period have reeled around Kathmandu Valley. Moreover, the feeling of competition among the rulers of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur prior to unification into Greater Nepal by King Prithvi Narayan Shah helped to refine the culture in these kingdoms.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Representative from our- ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ will greet you in Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel where you will be shortly explained about your trekking package. You will spend the smooth night in our hotel.
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Second day for Nepal Heritage Tour includes Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu which allows visit into Basantapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Narayanhiti Palace Museum and Kasthamandap of Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Square and Krishna Mandir of Patan.
Basantapur Durbar Square is the former Royal Residence of Nepal which is spread in five acres of area and was built in 16th century. Basantapur Palace Complex is divided into two chowks. At the southern end of Palace is located Kumari Chowk that abodes a living virgin goddess- Kumari.
Swayamvunath or Monkey Temple is perched atop the hill towards the west of Kathmandu Valley. Holy monkeys reside among woods located to the north- western parts of temple complex. Apart from the religious significance, Swayambhunath is famous for having the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley as well.
Narayanhiti Palace Museum is a former residence of King of Nepal which was later converted to the museum after Nepal was declared Republic. The crown jewel it holds is considered the most valuable objects in Nepal.
Patan is one of the three archaic cities inside Kathmandu Valley which is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and arts.
Krishna Mandir, built in 1637 by King Siddhinarsingh Malla is a Shikhara fashioned stone temple.
Day03: Visit Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Bhaktapur City:
Early in the morning, we will visit Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath and head towards Bhaktapur city.
Pashupatinath is one of the most revered Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva in the world. Recognizing its significance, Pashupatinath was enlisted in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bouddhanath is among the largest stupas in South Asia and is heavily influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. Hence it got its name ‘Little Tibet.’
While in Bhaktapur- City of devotees, we will visit The Nyatapol Temple, The Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Siddha Pokhari, 55-windowed palace and Museum.
Day 04: Departure:
Our representative will assist you in last moment preparation and will drive you back to Airport from where you will return to your beloved ones. We hope to see you again.
