Everest Trek

Everest Base Camp is a wide area which is not a definite site. Nearly everyone is attracted and is tempted to go for the trek to Everest. You have to arrive at Khumbu Icefall to ascend Everest Trek which is located on the rock- strewn incline. That is why it is an enormous set to sight Khumbu Glacier. The renowned Peaks that are situated in Khumbu Region are Lothse (8511m), Cho Oyu (8153m), Ama Dablam (6856m) and many more. This contains the world’s highest mountain as well as extra 200 Peaks which are elevated than 6,000m. Everest Base Camp is regularly well know for the gracious Sherpa people, villages of Sherpa, immense mixture of cultures and their ethnicity along the Buddhist monasteries. These all things make the trek excitement and adventures.

The places that Everest Trek wraps are Kathmandu, Lukla, Phakding, Namche, Thengboche, Dingboche, Kalapatthar, Gorak Shep, Everest Base Camp, Lukla and Kathmandu. The total duration of the Everest Trek is 17 days and its maximum height is 5380m. The type of  accommodation that it provides are either hotels or lodge. The means of transportation is by air or by land. In a same way the best seasons to trek Everest are September, October, November, February, March, April, May and June.

Day 01: Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

On the 1st day you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes 35 minutes. From Lukla you will be heading towards Phakding (2652 m). Taking 35 minute of flight to Lukla, your trip begins after climbing up to the slope on the left bank of Dudh Koshi River. One of the way you can view the magnificent beauty of Kusum Kangaru, Mt Kwondge and on the way you passed a few tea houses and Mani walls. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Kathmandu valley includes several Hindu temples including of Pashupatinath, listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Sites and the largest Buddhist stupa in Boudhanath. You can also visit the Monkey Temple Swyambhunath, built in 2000 years old and visit Patan, city of fine arts. In theevening you will be meeting with your trekking guide, checking the equipments and further discussion. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2840m), Trek to Phakding (2610m)

On the 3rd day you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes 35 minutes. From Lukla you will be heading towards Phakding (2652 m). Taking 35 minute of flight to Lukla, your trip begins after climbing up to the slope on the left bank of Dudh Koshi River. Day 04: Trek to Namche (3440m)

On the 4th day of an itinerary you will move from Phakding to Namche (3,440m). After a slight rise from Jhorsalle, the trail passes a waterfall. Throughout the day, you will pass from the villages interspersed with magnificent forests of Rhododendron, giant fir trees and magnolia. And on the way to walk you will be rewarded (weather permitting) your first glimpse of Kusum Kanggru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest (8,848 m) and Nuptse (7879 m) and the a steep climb to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m). Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Rest day

Acclimatization is important before proceeding to a higher elevation. It is therefore recommended that it is better to take a short day hike to Thame, Khumjung or Khunde. If you get some time then you can go for relaxing and exploring the Namche and the Sherpa culture. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3860m)

Tengboche is situated on a saddle at 3870m, surrounded by a clear dwarf fires and Rhododendrons. Kwongde (6187m) Tawache (6542 m) Everest (8,848 m) Nuptse (7855m) Lhotse (8618m) Amadablam (6856m) Thamserku (6608m) offers an inspiring panorama of gigantic Himalayan. You will be visiting the Tengboche Buddhist Monastery which is considered as the largest in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at a tented camp.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4410m)

On the 7th day you will trek to Dingboche from Tengboche taking rest on the way. The nature of the hike will be pleasant as you will walk throughout the grazing land. The way to Dingboche (4410m), you will take your lunch. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Rest day

 This day is counted as a rest day. It is good to know that you need an acclimatization day for an appropriate day to explore the surrounding. It is true that there lies a different trek as of Dingboche for this place over day counting Nangkartshang Peak. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910m)

On the 7th day you will head to Lobuche (4910m) from Dingboche. The trek to Lobuche is supposed to be extremely scenic day hiking easily in terms of nature but in contrast you have to hike in an alpine barren continuing the journey through the moraine taking an hour’s hike in Thugla Pass climb up. Overnight stay at a tented camp.

Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep (5153m)

On the 8th day you will arrive at Gorak Shep (5153m) hiking from Lobuche. Gorak Shep is the very last camp just before you go for an extensive day, hiking to the summit of Kalapatthar (5545m). You will walk around Everest Base Camp (5310m) after the trek to Gorak Shep. From Gorak Shep you will move to Lobuche. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 11: Trek to Kalapatthar

On the 11th day you will trek to Kalapatthar from Gorak Shep. Firstly you will move to ascend the Kalapatthar, viewing the Mount Everest. Kalapatthar is one of the best place to snaps beautiful photographs of dazzling mountains. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 12: Trek to Tengboche

On the 12th day you will trek back to Tengboche from Kalapatthar. In the first phase you will take your breakfast and will move for the sightseeing. More or less you will explore the surrounding so that you would not miss an important thing in this trek. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

 Day 13: Trek to Monjo

From Tengboche you will trek back to Monjo. On this day you will trek to the Syangboche, which is known as the World’s highest band. After that you will go down to Namche Bazar to take your lunch. Then, again you will carry on the trek until you arrive at the final. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 14: Flight to Lukla (2840m)

On the 14th day you will take a flight back to Lukla (2840m), which is a beautiful and easy walk and in addition it provides the view to Kusum Kangaru, blue pine along with Rhododendron forest. This is the last day of the trek in a bustling city so enjoy dinner with the team members. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 15: Flight to Kathmandu

On the 15th day you will be back from Lukla to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmadu taking the flight. In the airport you will be well come by the staff and then will be transferred into the hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 16: Rest day

On the 16th day you will do nothing except than taking rest in the hotel. The day after tomorrow you will be leaving so it’s better to take some rest so that you will feel relaxed. In the evening you can for exploring some beautiful and ancient places of Kathamndu. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 17: Departure!!!

On this day you will be transferred into Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu after spending more than 15 days in Nepal so that you can return your hometown.
