Everest Renjo-La Trek is the most preferred trekking destination in the region of Everest because of its nature. Everest Renjo-La Trek combines the Everest trekking as well as trekking along one of the popular passes of the Everest Region—Renjo-La Pass. Besides having the wonderful opportunity to trek along the Everest region while observing the wonderful views of Mountain peaks like Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and others, Everest Renjo-La Pass Trek provides the additional opportunity to pass across the Renjo La Pass and discover more adventure.

The total trekking duration of Everest Renjo-La Trek is that of 20 days. The best seasons for the Everest Renjo-La Trek are February to June, September to November. However, July and August are comparatively good for hiking but the fact is you may or may not seen visibility due to rain. The nature of trekking grade is moderate plus quite strenuous. Tea house is preferred as an accommodation for Everest Renjo La Trek .If you are planning to trek in a group then you must know the group size is for the trek. The maximum and minimum numbers of people in a group is arranged with 120 only. The minimum altitude of Everest Renjo La Trek is 2840 m and its maximum altitude is 5,345 m. Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan Internationla Airport, Kathmandu

As soon as you get there at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu you will be transferred into hotel. You will be invited to visit the office for a briefing about his visit and will take the permit for trekking. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley

Kathmandu valley includes several Hindu temples including of Pashupatinath, listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Sites and the largest Buddhist Stupa in Boudhanath. You can also visit the Monkey Temple Swyambhunath, built around 2000 years ago and visit Patan, city of fine arts. In theevening you will be meeting with your trekking guide, checking the equipments and further discussion. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2860m)

On the 3rd day you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes 35 minutes. From Lukla you will be heading towards Phakding (2652 m). Taking 35 minute of flight to Lukla, your trip begins after climbing up to the slope on the left bank of Dudh Koshi River. One of the way you can view the magnificent beauty of Kusum Kangaru, Mt Kwondge and on the way you passed a few tea houses and Mani walls. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche (3,440 m)

On the 4th day of an itinerary you will move from Phakding to Namche (3,440m).  After a slight rise from Jhorsalle, the trail passes a waterfall. Throughout the day, you will pass from the villages interspersed with magnificent forests of Rhododendron, giant fir trees and magnolia. And on the way to walk you will be rewarded (weather permitting) your first glimpse of Kusum Kanggru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest (8,848 m) and Nuptse (7879 m) then a steep climb to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m). Overnight stay at Tea house.

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche

 Today you have a day of acclimation to acclimate well to the altitude, you will have a few hours hiking up to Syangboche runway walk to the Everest View Hotel for the same purpose from the view point of Mount Everest. Hiking for few hours you can visit the village of Khumjung which is worth seeing the Museum of Everest. Acclimatization is important before proceeding to a higher elevation. Overnight stay at a tea house.

Day 06: Trek to Thame (3820) 5 to 5 ½ hrs

Today you will walk approximately 5 to 5 ½ hours at Thame. Thame is situated at the end of the Khumbu valley and the iconic value of Thame is the simplicity of people who are untouched by the effects of modern civilization. During the walk you will visit the great and the variety of prayer flags, Chorten and Mani rocks carved. Overnight stay at aguesthouse.

Day 07: Trek to Lungdeng (4500m)

Today you will walk about 5 to 5 and half hour to Lungden, especially uphill, the path goes through many ancient people and walls of Sherpa. During the walk you can see varieties of plants and animals and the unique culture of the Sherpa. You may have to share the road with Tibetan Yak Canavans, the trade route to and from Namche to Tibet with the villagers. Overnight stay at lodge Lungden.

Day 08: Rest day and explore the surroundings

 Today you can visit Nakpa Valley, which falls on the ancient trade route to Tibet. You will be hiking the Peak Darkyachhulung. You can also visit the sacred site of Marlung Warfield. Excursion to Lake Relmo Cho will give you pleasure and after that you will be back to Lungdeng. Overnight stay at lodge Lungden.

Day 09: Trek to Renjo-La Pass (5415m)

Today the hike will take approximately 6 hours to reach the Gokyo Lake which is the intersection of La Renjo pass (5415m). The paths often follow steep ups and downs with a ridge of sand. You will cross an icy stream, and walk through the spectacular rock, makes several yak and Twin Lakes Kharkas Renjo. The view that you will view from the top is amazing along with the standing peaks from 7000 to 8000 Kalapathar, put everything including the monastery of Tengboche , chola glaciers and many more. Overnight stay in the Gokyo lake.

Day 10: Gokyo to explore around Lake

The excursion to Gokyo Peak usually begins early in the morning. The climb is quite steep first 30 minutes, which will take an hour to get to the top with their traditional prayer flags. From where you will have a magnificent view of the high peaks, from west to east are Cho (8153 m), Gyachung Kang (7922 m), Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse (8,501 m) and Makalu. In an additional you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Gokyo Lake the way to the offspring. Overnight stay in the Gokyo Lake.

Day 11: Trek to Thangnak (4700m)

On the 11th day you will head towards Thangnak (4700m) from Gokyo Lake crossing the Gokyo glacier which takes about 4 hours. Thangnak is one of the perfect destinations for trekking and you can take your lunch on the way to Thangnak. Overnight stay at a tented camp

Day 12: Journey to Cho-La-Dzongla

The journey through Cho La Pass (5330 m) covers a very difficult route and requires some mountaineering experience as well as well equipped. It is suggested to carry warm clothing and some extra food. The pass is not difficult in contrast it is encompassing with strong glacier which must be crossed. It is for sure that you will not encounter any technical problems and there is a path between the rocks, besides the icefall. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 13: Lobuche Dzongla (4910m) 4 ½ hours

On the 13th day you will head to Lobuche Dzongla (4910m) from Cho- La. As you descend you will see the trail that leads gradually to Lobuche (4910m), taking 4 ½ hours. Meanwhile you will see the Dughla Lake with beautiful scenery. Overnight stay at a tented camp.

 Day 14: Trek to Gorakshep (5140 m)

 The trail from Lobuche follows the valley of grassy ablation with great views of Pumori then it crosses tributary glaciers to reach the dry lake bed Gorakshep. After taking lunch at Gorakshep, you will move forward at Kala Patthar (5545m) up which offers the incredible views of Everest and the Everest Base Camp. Then you will be back to the Gorakshep. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 15: Gorakshep Everest Base Camp and back to Lobuche

On the 15th day you will head to Everest Base Camp from Gorakshep taking breakfast. You will go for an early morning walk to Everest Base camp, visiting the base camp area and from there you will go down to Lobuche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 16: Trek to Dingboche (4343 m)

The trek to Chhukung (4900m) will be the longer and more difficult one as you have to descend the valley of the Imja Khola and have to trek through the village of Dingboche with the fields of potatoes stone walls, down through alpine pastures Kharkas Tsura, Shomare Orsho and the Pangboche village, the highest year Round Agreement in the valley. The Pangboche Gompa (monastery) is the oldest in the Khumbu and once boasted the skull and hand of a Yeti, (stolen in 1991) Overnight stay at a guesthouse

Day 17: Trek to Tengboche (3867 m)

Day 18: Back to Namche

From Tengboche, the trail descends steeply to the Dudh Koshi and the village of Phunki, where you will cross the river, and climb up to Namche Bazaar, winding high above the river and the dazzling views towards the North Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 19: Return to Lukla

On the 19th day you will drive back to Lukla (2880m), which is a beautiful and easy walk and in addition it provides the view to Kusum Kangaru, blue pine along with Rhododendron forest from Namche. This is the last day of the trek in a bustling city so enjoy dinner with the team members. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 20: Flight to Kathmandu

On the 20th day you will be back from Lukla to Kathmandu taking the flight. It’s all up to you whether you want to stay one more day or willing to return your own hometown. If you want to depart from on this day then you will be transferred into Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
