Trip Overview Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour 4 Nights 5 Days

Chitwan is situated in the southern part of Nepal and is famous for the National Park which is home to myriad animals and birds (some of them endangered). It is situated in the lowlands popularly called the Terai. The word Chitwan itself means “heart of the jungle” and is considered one of the finest wildlife reserves in Asia. It is the habitat for the famous Bengal Tiger and the endangered one-horned Rhino. There are more than 43 species of mammals, over 450 species of birds, and more than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles in this reserve. You can find the Chital, Sambar, Hog Deer, Barking deer, wild elephant, four horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, Gangetic dolphin, monitor lizard, python, sloth deer, common leopard, ratel, palm civet, wild dog, Langur and rhesus monkeys. You can also find endangered animals like the one-horned rhinoceros, Tiger and the Gharial.

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will pick you up and transfer to your hotel. After refreshment, you will be briefed about your tour by our guide or tour leader. 

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan which take about 5 hours. Arrival in Chitwan and short refreshment lunch will be serving around 02:00 PM. After lunch, you will take some time and visit a nearby Tharu village. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 3: Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour
Wake up call by tea or coffee, and then around 8:00AM breakfast will serve. After breakfast we process on Elephant-back safari. You will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours and back to hotel for a lunch. After lunch we have Canoeing Trip, a traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks after canoeing trip back to hotel. In the evening, Tharu culture dance show, villagers will show some of their traditional skills and dances. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 4: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu
Early wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then drive to Kathmandu upon arrival check into the hotel. In evening leisure, overnight at hotel

Day 5: Final Departure
After breakfast you will have some free time until the time to leave the international airport for your final departure
