Buddhist Darshan Tour

Trip Overview Buddhist Darshan Tour

Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour is a specially designed tour that takes the Buddhist pilgrims to the sacred monasteries and Stupas in Nepal. The main objective of the Buddhist Darshan Tour is to make sure that the visitors will get to visit the popular and sacred monasteries in Nepal like Lumbini, Boudhha Stupa, Swyambhunath, and many others. Amongst them, Lumbini is the most sacred of them all as it is the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Buddha was born in Lumbini some 2500 years ago. Lumbini is one of the iconic places in Nepal and given its historical importance, it remains a widely visited place in Nepal.
Buddhist Darshan Tour, however, commences from the cultural city of Kathmandu, which is also the capital of Nepal. Besides visiting Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest Stupa in the world, and the 2000 years old Swyambhunath Stupa, located in a hillock in Kathmandu, you will also visit the Durbar Squares of Basantapur, Patan and Bhaktapur. They are centuries old and they command great artistry and sculpture art. All the three Durbar Squares, and the twin Stupas—Swyambhunath and Boudhhanath—and Lumbini have been enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage Site as they are not just the treasures of Nepal but the entire world. You can also visit the Hindu Lord Shiva shrine at the Pashupatinath Temple while in Kathmandu. Buddhist Darsha Tour is the best tour package available if you are curious to learn about Buddhism and the monuments in Nepal.
